Illustrative Collage
The assignment was to illustrate a magazine article. This piece is a digital collage created using Photoshop, combining multiple images that I sourced to convey global warming and its effects on the world. The article discusses how global warming continues to melt ice, leading to more frequent volcanic eruptions and increased fire activity. The biggest challenge was blending images from different environments into one cohesive scene. I focused on consistent lighting, color grading, and a clear visual hierarchy to ensure the composition wouldn’t feel overwhelming. My goal was to create a sense of urgency and realism to accompany the article and effectively convey its message.
